This is advance notice that I plan to upgrade TrekBBS on Sunday February 26.
This will involve a big upgrade. It will leapfrog the board software three versions, and there will be a number of things in addition to that will be implemented. This will bring TrekBBS in line with the recently-upgraded CSI Files.
This will quite a fundamental change to TrekBBS, so the board will be down somewhere in the region of 2 - 4 hours, and there is bound to be hiccups in the process as I resuscitate this Frankenstein monster.
So on Sunday, please be aware that service may be interrupted. And while I'd like for there to be an obvious downtime message, a lot of the time you may just get an error message or something like that.
Please note that this date may change. I am still fixing bugs on the system over at CSI Files, and I may get the urge to go shopping on Sunday.
You won't have to do anything to use the updated system... just turn up and hope it's working! Although some URLs may change, so if you have any bookmarks they will need updating.
