watched episode blood
i loved this episode.
they finally came out and said people make it will holodeck people.
I know this this is something Star Trek
does they have a story that they want to
tell
coming up but they don't want to use the
same characters over and over again
so they do what I like to call the woodworking.
the woodwork characters were suddenly
there's a new character you start seeing a couple episodes
before that just comes out of nowhere and there's an automatic imply backstory.

i liked the review of blood fever in

 there is only one logical solution, Tom:
You have to do Vorik, too.
You should really write this in the job descpription :guffaw:

and i liked how it's pointed out that Neelix all time pretends to be an expert and fails, her with climbing.

And I do wonder, why Chakotay or Tuvok did not at least offer to do the job themself ;) maybe afraid that it gets to rough?

I'm more intrigued by the aftermath.

Tuvok and Vorrik writing and filming the health/training Holoprogram about how to deal with Pon Farr when you can't get back to Vulcan and all the aliens thar abouts are not interested in taking one for the team.

they could have done more of the idea.
Tom tried his best, but got exausted and B'lana was still hot. So .....
Vorik was dumped at next class M planet, where he cheered up some locals.:vulcan:

But the same with Tuvoks pon far in season 7.
Janeway: "I need a volunteer! No-one? Damn, everything i have to do myself."

Well I sure wouldn't volunteer. It sounds horrible. Uhura is very wise to keep depressurizing Spock over the years to save herself this fate.

I don't think they're doing it.

Sure they love each other, but Uhura seems like a good girl who will wait for marriage.

B'Elanna appears to be the sort of person who is only interested in sex on her own timetable.

Surprise suitors are not welcome.

She spent months working out that she loved Tom before they even kissed for the first time.

you made my day :guffaw:waiting for marrige? In 24th century?

That would be not logical: just image you get a bad surprise in the wedding night. No, Uhura would test beforehand. At least she would test before with her hand. ;)

B'Lana or Tuvok, who is more rough?

Nichelle Uhura looked like she was about ready to do the tango when the salt vampire appeared as a Swahili-speaking dude. She definitely knew what she was doing when she tried to distract Sulu's attention in the Mirror Universe. And there's all those little glances between her and Scott in the "Mirror, Mirror" teaser.

But Zoe Uhura is apparently just manipulating Spock's emotions since we never see her and Spock together in the sack, though we seem to see every one of Kirk's encounters. The fact that Spock caves in 2009 and puts her on Enterprise shows she has some sort of power over him that might not have anything to do with logical arguments.

Rememeber the man with two brains?

"Sex? Actual sex? No I haven't had sex with my wife, but if you want to talk about finger sucking, I am the King of finger sucking."

Was Nichelle Uhura revirginized after Nomad wiped her memories?

I find TOS Uhura far sexier than NuUhura.. but TOS Uhura is older. She's great in the movies even older too!

They are just teasing us for XIII. There will be pon farr. You can't give Vulcans to new people without them going "OMG we are totes doing pon farr!!!"

Surely going back to Vulcan, going back to their homeworld being a component of Pon farr might suggest that this "biological effect" came into being after this species became space travellers.

It was nice how the comics already covered that but will the movies?

I always thought they must return because their mate they are bonded to is there. What if T'Pel was aboard Voyager, wouldn't they have just pon farred away without any need to go back to Vulcan to do it?
