Blast from the Past, or, The Ultimate in Thread Necromancy

Hello! Many of you don't know me, because I only show up a couple of times a year and I mostly hang out at Wordforge now, but those folks who are still around from the early 2000s may enjoy this.

Recently, I booted up my oooooooold eMac in target mode to see what was on the hard drive. I found a folder full of random TrekBBS images and threads from 2003 and 2004. They include the entirety of @Jethro Elvis and Katie_543's Grand Miscellaneous Competition from December 2003, which I can't post right now because it's huge and will take a long time to sort through, but here's a taste of the folder's contents. I believe @Spaceman Spiff made these in addition to starring in them.

I was indeed and I recall your name from back then. It's nice that you survived all the storms. I went under a different name back then and left during the big troll hysteria. I chose a different username when I returned since I wasn't sure how many of the old bullies were still around. Frankly, I wouldn't have returned if not my friends had asked me to. However, I was rather pleasantly surprised. Under Bonzie's relaxed leadership the board atmosphere has changed back from Germany 1936 to TrekBBS 2000/1, at least here in MISC. I hear that TNZ is still a hellhole but I never go there.
