This thread includes some pseudo-spoilers....that is, "spoilers" in terms of things you can figure out from watching the promos. (Since not everyone likes to watch the promos.)

Look at the 9 second mark. Jack is standing in front of a blackboard, and it looks like there are some interesting things written on it. Things like "2000 BC" and "Egyptian". What do you think? Might we be learning more about the apparent connections of the Island to Ancient Egyptian mythology?

A Miles flashback that will hopefully explain why they wanted a 'Sixth Sense' guy. Looks very intriguing. And yeah, blackboard stuff does have Egyptian stuff on it but why does it look like Jack is teaching?

With regard to the Egyptian stuff, I just read a theory on another board that I found interesting: What if the Island was actually physically part of Egypt (or maybe an Island just off the coast?), and then someone built the donkey wheel, and transported the whole place into the Pacific?

Heck, maybe they made a few stops in other parts of the world along the way, like stopping in places where they might have picked up some interesting animals, like polar bears?
