Here's a strange piece of information for any Star Trek bird watchers.
While on vacation in Burlington VT years ago, we took a drive our to this bird museum;

While wandering the building, nestled in a corner was a shrine to the late Jeffrey Hunter aka Captain Pike. Low and behold; the founder/carver of wood birds man was his college roomate.
So if you're ever in the area, etc. etc. A beautiful spot, by the way and the guy does great wood carvings.
The shrine is just a little table in the corner with some photos and such.
