Big Brother Season 28 (2026) / Survivor Season 51 (2026 / The Amazing Race Season 39 (2026)

SO happy Haley is gone. She was the only person left I would be mad if she won, she's the only person I don't like as a human being.

Then I have mixed feelings about the result of Thursday. The icons have been playing the best game this year. But they also were given all the advantages by CBS and have been coasting. If they just coast to the end it'll be *boring*. I was glad to see Devens win the arena, but also was disappointed that it meant there was no change to the game.

I want to see real gamesmanship here. I hope Melody or Barret win HoH, so they can take a real shot at the icons, then I hope the surviving icons have a chance to punch back. I hope Drew has to take a side and make a game move that isn't just doing what somebody else wants. And I'm pissed that Yash, the best opposition chance to win HoH, sold his ability to fight back for $5000.

Whoever wins, I want them to fight for it. The path has been too easy so far.

At this point I might as well just watch the live feeds and get spoiled. No matter how many BB groups I block on Facebook somebody spoils me *every single time*.

Dee & Devens are far and away my favourite characters this year, probably because they were cast by the Survivor team and not the Big Brother team. They are playing the game with a lot less of the DR whining we usually get.

Its becoming more and more obvious to me that Big Brother is being run on a shoestring budget to give CBS ratings wins in the summer and their ability to charge (probably) more for advertising. Heck, seeing all the previous clips of her around the 1,000th episode, Julie has gone from a legitimate reporter to quoting "love one another."

Speaking of the 1000th episode and compounding my thoughts that CBS really doesn't care is that they forced all of the pomp and circumstance into a middling episode of a below average season. Let's ask half the Cookout what they think of this season instead of anything related to the gravity of what the Cookout was. Sure, there will be plenty of alums there, but lets shove half of them in a barn, so we can get more shots of Jessie flexing his muscles (one trick pony). They set a friggin Guinness world record and it was treated as a tiny little segment. If this was Survivor, it would have been an event, but Big Brother is whatever they could shove into their run time.

I found the 1000th episode festivities empty but harmless.

I agree Dee and Devens are the best players this season, but it's also boring the way they're steamrolling. Especially given they have gotten clear favoritism. I hope one of them goes out this week and some of the other players can get a chance to shine. And also, Dee is the only one actually playing that well. Devens has made big mistakes and gotten gifted the strongest power. He'd have gone ages ago if Dee weren't thinking for him.

Well, by now we all must know who the nominees are. Maybe if they'd treated Barrett a little better they all wouldn't be there.

At this point I want either Dee or Devens to win. Angela would be acceptable, but I don't think she'll make it to the end.

That feels pretty damning in the grand scheme of thing.

Angela is a bully & should have been committed to a mental hospital instead of put back in the house. The fake crying, the yelling ("put it on your brother!"). She is the female version of Jessie, in that, they will force feed her down our throats because she'll show up at the lowest price possible. I feel bad for her husband & anyone who choose to sell a house with her. Can you imagine that woman doing legal paperwork?

She did seem a bit unhinged about all the chores she's demanding her husband do. It occurred to me that she could come home to find an empty house and a set of divorce papers waiting for her.

Barret can go any time.

I'm now 4 episodes behind and unsure whether or not to get caught up, especially since I don't really like anyone that's left in the game outside of Dee, Devens, and Angela and don't like that they all got nominated or that Angela got Evicted.

For future references, there is a 24-hour spoiler alert rule about evictions. It says so in the thread's OP:

REGARDING SPOILERS: We are all in different time zones. Please keep the name(s) of the evicted houseguest(s) in spoiler code for the first 24 hours after an eviction episode has aired.

Considering some of us don't have the streaming platform where episodes drop at midnight and you have all day to watch it, not using spoiler codes any time before midnight in the Pacific and Mountain time zones means you'll be telling the end of the episode before some of us have even had time to watch it.

It hasn't been 24 hours yet in my time zone (MDT), so THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT. :scream:

I can't watch these show on a streaming platform. I either have to watch on TV as it's shown, or wait until later when that channel's website puts it up to watch online. Geoblocking means I only get to see a fraction of the stuff the rest of you do, or at least I have to wait until it turns up here.

Sorry for Spoiling things. I genuinely didn't mean to break any rules.

I think I've said before that I appreciate the new energy that Dee and Devens have brought to this season. They are playing with a kind of disregard that you would expect from Survivor without having time to sulk in the house and overthink. The downside is neither of them realize they are the majority alliance and it was actually a good move to try and break and them up now, when Barrett had numbers.

Yash needs to stop yelling in the DR, but other than that, he's far and above the best rookie player.

Drew has been the biggest ass kisser in the history of the game. Devens isn't about to adopt him or marry him or whatever. Melody isn't about to kiss him. The vote callouts about "your boy!" is just silly, trying to be Paul all over again. He's clearly setting himself up for a post game social media career. Rob Cesternino & Dan Gheelsing & Hannah Chaddha have got that market cornered. You're not going on The Challenge because if they want anyone, they'll want Yash, the comp beast. He can leave last week.

Melody & Taylor are just there. Might as well call them Victoria & Jameka because they are getting dragged to the end.

That "your boy" phrase really annoys me. No, they are not "my boys." The last time I had any boys, they were the family cats and dogs who were male. Gussy was my boy (he decided I was his mother shortly after he came to live in the house instead of the yard). Grey and white tuxedo kitten, with a purr about the same volume as a lawnmower.

I would never claim any human with that label, particularly ones with such egotistical attitudes.

Right now I'd be okay with Dee, Devens, Barret or Yash winning. I actually do like Drew as a person, a lot because of stuff I saw in the feeds with him just hanging out with Barret, Mallory and Melody. They're playing up the vanity aspect on the show, he's a closet nerd. His game doesn't deserve victory but he'd be my 5th choice. I hope he goes home this week.

Yeah I hate "Your boy" too.

I'm a little worried Taylor might end up winning, just cause Ashley won last year. I want to see a power player win, not a quiet under the radar player who made friends on the jury.

Small update, now I think I'm demoting Barrett below Drew on my want to win list, so now it's Dee, Devens, Yash in the top echelon, then Drew, then Barrett, then Taylor, then Melody.

Watching live feeds now, everyone else is talking and having fun and Barrett is in the have not room alone moping. It's like his HoH didn't go the way he wanted and he gave up.

I'm okay with either Dee or Devens winning. I'm hoping for Devens because I like him more than I like Dee. But in ability to play the game, she's got the edge for more effective use of the Power she won.

Barrett can STFU. I did like him a few weeks ago, but he's been coasting on the Icons' good will. And Drew is an even worse case of coasting.

The others? Meh. None of them deserve to win. Well, maybe Yash. But I don't like him, so there.

Oh, and would somebody please just crazy glue Drew's hands somewhere that's not within reach of his hair? If you made a drinking game of how often he runs his hands through his hair, you could be dead of alcohol poisoning in a very short time.

Dee pulls out another miracle escape. Just plain amazing. I'm glad Dee survived over Yash but I'm getting super worried an undeserving player is going to win like Melody or Taylor. Another season determined by the lowest threats just staying under the radar.

We can just hope that Dee and Devens dominate the competitions from here out and force their way to the finals because everyone else who deserved to win is gone.

Tonight's episode isn't over yet here. Since I watch online, it likely won't be available until tomorrow.

Now that I've had a chance to see it, I agree 100%.

Dee and Devens are the only ones who deserve to win, as far as I'm concerned. I hope it's Devens, but if not, Dee would be okay (she's already won one show).

I am so sick and tired of Drew and his obsession with his friggin' hair. I could also do without Melody and her eye-rolling.

Barrett wasn't a sore loser at all. /sarcasm (good riddance)

Actually, I think there was one person who exited faster than Barrett did, and that was Austin. He was so confident of not being evicted that he hadn't even bothered putting his shoes on. And when he was evicted, he just stomped out in an enraged huff.

Would somebody please tell Jerry O'Connell to stop being a creep? Why is he obsessed with the houseguests' hair?

Survivor 51 starts on Wednesday, September 23. The premiere is 2 hours, and following episodes will be 90 minutes.

Here is Jeff's introduction to the theme, the tribal council setting, and the cast.

Jerry O'Connell thinks he's doing like a CBS morning show like he's Regis Philbin. That's why he's openly corny, he doesn't understand the difference between that audience and the Big Brother audience.
