So I was round visiting my mum earlier and as it's the 50th I had Trek on my mind, and I remembered about this box, which has been sat in my old bedroom since I moved out:

...so I brought it home with me, I remembered some of the stuff that was in it, but I'd forgotten a lot of it. Hasn't been opened in nearly 20 years so I thought I'd take some pictures and show you what I've got.

It's all books so I figured Trek Lit would be the best place to put it. There's a lot of photos so I'll link to my Dropbox for the rest.

    Novelisations:

(Spock Must Die in that last one as well)
Most of those were given to me by my uncle once I went full Trekkie in about '91 or '92. I read those to death over the years, I especially loved the Alan Dean Foster adaptations of the TAS episodes as I hadn't seen those, so they were like brand new adventures to me.

    Original novels plus assorted tie-ins:

I loved things like the Nitpicker's Guides and the Compendiums etc below, I was obsessed with the minutiae of the universe and behind the scenes info etc.

(Mostly) Official tie-ins (Chronology, Compendium etc):

...plus one of those totally gonzo Gold Key annuals.
I don't remember having the Phase II book at all, I also at one point had the updated TNG Companion with the red cover, that included S6 and S7. God knows where that's gone. The Making of Star Trek was in pretty rough shape when I got it (another one from my uncle), but I read it cover to cover many times over.

    Comics:

Should have put the Gold Key annual in with these really.

Random newspaper clipping from when Generations was released:

Featuring the British comedian and notorious Trekkie and racist (and friend of Marina Sirtis), Jim Davidson.

    The Star Trek Universe
    Enterprise Zone
    The Female Frontier

    Again, some random pages:

There was also some fanfic that I forgot I wrote (I was 12/13 at the time), which I've posted here for those interested.

Apologies if this doesn't quite fit the criteria for this board, I considered putting it in general Trek but as it's mainly books I figured this was the best home for it, and as it's the 50th anniversary I thought it'd be a bit of fun to have a look in what essentially turned out to be a Trek time capsule.

    LLAP folks, and happy 50th!

It's very cool and a little odd to see Trek articles in the Birmingham Post!

You must have had a really fun time looking through everything again.
