The magnificant Bettie Page, the world's first and best super-model, one of the most photgraphed people of the 20th century, has died at the age of 85.

Bettie spent most of her time since ending her modeling days in seclusion from the general public, and fifteen years ago wasn't even aware that people still knew who she was.
After realizing that she still had fans, she refused to have her picture taken because she wanted people to remember her in her prime. The only exception was five years ago at the Playboy 50th anniversary party. I saw the pics from the party and personally, I thought that she had aged rather gracefully. She still had those eyes and that smile.
