Better or Worse?

Do you like this theme (single) better than S1-S3 or S4-S7 themes?

My guess would be, that he means track 17 on the Emissary soundtrack cd, which is indeed called "single version".

And it's four minutes of awfulness.

 

I say we stick with the 4mins of the standard theme.

 

Both are too 90s. I would've preferred if they had used actual instruments and not a sythesizer. It pales in comparison to Next Gen.

 

I think what the OP meant was which version of the DS9 titles theme music do people prefer? Pre- or post-WOTW?

Well, yeah. Cause that one's performed by an actual orchestra.

If there's ever a DS9 film (there won't be) I'd hope the composer would do a good job of using real instruments instead of a synthesizer.

 

Which of course was actually TMP's theme (more or less)
