Best Trek Season 4

Which Trek show had the best Fourth season?

I think all the shows were great in season 4, but DS9 takes it for me.
Even TAS?

I don't consider the animated series canon, so no. Neither did Gene Rodenberry.
It is canon, at least as of late, but please don't make me bring the evidence.

I only asked if you considered TAS good, but obviously you don't.

Its funny, you reason that its not canon because its not good (or vice-versa, whatever)... If thats the case, what should that make of VOY and ENT, then?

No, the reason I don't consider it canon is because it isn't. It was an animation program that played on saturday mornings. If you want to consider it canon then go ahead, but don't expect me to. It's no more canon than any of the hundreds of trek novels that have hit the market place for the last 40 years.

Thats a silly thing to say. Its more accurate to say that its not a fourth season than that its not canon.

TAS elements survive throughout the Trek canon, and certain writers themselves (from TNG to ENT) have added notes and nuances refering to things established by TAS. ENT's fifth season was even going to do a prequel to the "Slaver Weapon", and show the Kzinti. There was even talk of showing that acquatic race from "The Ambergris Element", too.

To paraphrase that DS9-ENT writer, if (a Trek show) got Shatner and Nimoy, its Star Trek to me.

And he's not the only one. Paramount and co. have aknwoledged it as canon, and as far as Roddenberry's concerned... He disavowed a lot of TOS episodes, too. Like "The Enterprise Incident", for instance... That doesn't mean he was right, at that.

Canon is what it is. If you don't want to include TAS into your "personal continuity", fine by me. But to tell that its not canon, at least not since 2005... That just sounds like TAS-bashing to me.

ds9 gets my vote here though enterprise comes a surpriseing second ds9 broght in work also way of the warrior was the episode that broght me to ds9. enterprise was good when the augments arc ran pity the series was cancelled it seemed too late that they were getting some decent story lines

Easily DS9 IMHO. This is where the show took off and just left everything else behind in my personal opinion.
