Best Trek Film Score Sans TMP

I'm split between Wrath of Khan & First Contact.

Being charitable, I quite like the score during key moments from Nemesis. Jerry Goldsmith never let the side down in my eyes...

There. I've actually said something nice about ST X! :D

There's a nice musical lament for Data that deserved to be heard during the movie proper but instead got shunted to the end credits. I'm watching it right now on Film 4, so I expect an announcer will talk all over it...

Edit: Nope. It got cut completely, with just the usual TMP reprise and credits played at 4x speed...

I don't think I've been interested in anything he's done in the past 20 years.
What about Braveheart?

Forgive me, I should have worded myself better. I haven't heard anything interesting out of him in the past 20 years. I have never seen Braveheart actually. Tried to watch it, but couldn't get through it. Something about Mel Gibson gives me the heebie jeebies, and long before his recent bad press. Nor have I seen A Perfect Storm, though I have it on hold at the library. I must also amend my previous statement, as I had forgotten that I managed to enjoy some of his 13 day composure for the Troy soundtrack. Other than that however, it has been few and far between. I will review Perfect Storm to see if lives up to expectations, and I just put the Braveheart soundtrack on hold as well. Might as well sample that at least , for I shant brave the film.
