Best Trek Fiction Archives?

I'm looking to check out some more specifically trek fanfiction and would like to find a nice sized archive to read from (preferrably one with decent web design and that isn't exclusively focused on the characters from the shows), but I'm having a hard time finding a decent site through google.

Anyone have any recommendations for trek specific fanfic sites with plenty of variety? Or for non-specific fanfic sites with plenty of trek?

I'm familiar with fanfiction.net but given experiences there in the past, i'm loathe to go back there again unless people feel they've changed for the better over the past decade.

I recommend the Ad Astra archive which contains hundreds of great stories, and you can search by series, including expanded universe, or genre.

And naturally, I will have to plug United Trek a shared universe which is made up of a number of series focusing on mostly original or expanded characters. Many stories are available for download on the site. Canon characters make appearances but mostly it's about all original ships and crews.

We've got a number of areas to chose from. In the mood for TOS? Check out David Falkayn's Lexington. Pre-TNG? Mike Garcia's Full Speed Ahead is for you. If you like Deep Space Nine-era stories, I recommend you take a look at Galen's Intrepid, David's Sutherland or my own Star Eagle Adventures. If you want to go post-Dominion War on the other hand, Gibraltar, Dark Territory or the adventures of the gritty Border Service in TLR's wonderful Bluefin series are must reads. And there's plenty more guaranteed to keep you busy for weeks, if not months.

There's a ton of Trek fic on Archive Of Our Own (AO3). It's where I post my stories. Much of it is transformative fic, but there's plenty of genfic as well.
