Best travel center's/truck stops.

After recently concluding a long road trip, I have come to the conclusion that Love's has the best travel center's. Anyone care to disagree?

Following a year of travelling on the road on a regular basis in my country, Welcome Break has a generally good range of service stations, although the Tebay station on the M6 is also very nice indeed. :bolian:

For non-truckers (maybe even for them, too?), the most impressive thing I've ever seen has been Chesapeake House and Maryland House on I-95. Some people don't like them, but still...the scale of them is like nothing I've seen on any of the other road trips I've take.

The only "pit stop" destination I have is Hruska's. It's right about halfway between our place south of Houston, and my folks' place west of Austin. It's on hwy 71, in Ellinger, which is literally a blink-and-you-miss-it town, but this place has not only a darn good bakery and sandwich shop, plus a huge convenience store, but its bathrooms are freakin' enormous and they're so clean, it's shocking.

I used to regularly make the drive between Omaha and St. Louis (when I was in college), and there are a fair amount of good rest stops along the way. Not the chain stores or anything, just roadside rest areas.
