Hey I'm going to a scifi meetup/conference discussion and they said the topic of discussion was the best scifi books/comics of the last year;
I've been actually using this year as a catchup for past years because it was such a letdown.
So what were the best novels? Or comics?
It's hard to keep track of the one-shot comics.
DC is going nuts as usual, and Marvel seems to be playing The Rise And Fall of Galactic Empires on us.
It's hard to think that "M-day" was years ago, or that the godawful Grant Morrison years are over.
But why do I act like there was a shining golden age just before that? The 1990's were infamously the years of "lets make as many spinoffs as possible" and sales went through the basement.
So the only really "Great" X-Men storarcs were written when I wasn't even born yet?
