Best part of Insurrection! Those Son'a bastards

Not really. If they'd kept the line in, it would be one less thing for people to nitpick about here. And then where would we be? Probably moderating the Lounges. Or TNZ.

INS was a good Trek film. Not as spectecular as TWOK or FC but it was good in my opinion ( considering the fiascos like Final Frontier and Nemesis )

My favorite scene was when Riker said "set a collision course" against Rua'Fo's ship and when Son'a officer looked approaching Enterprise , turns Worf and says "he wouldn't" Worf's straight answer "OH YES he would !"

I like "Insurrection" more than "First Contact." I don't know why--other than probably because I abhor "First Contact."

Thing is INS was more TNG than FC by a long shot.

Furthermore, the "We're through running from these bastards!" is most Riker was like [TV] Riker at any time in the movies.

Love this movie, felt like a big budgeted episode! However, for me the bastards and Picard saying "How the hell are you" seemed simply out of place. I guess that is because, as someone noted previously, there is so little cursing in Star Trek that is it shocking. But shocking to the point that it seems way out of character. Cursing in a movie is no big deal to me but it seemed forced and contrived in the movie.

Though oddly enough, one probably wouldn't be at all surprised by Season1 Picard using stronger language. They just got tamer as they progressed.

I liked Riker in Insurrection. He was the only one who seemed remotely like himself for most of the movie. Although to be honest, I'm inclined to back 'those Son'a bastards' against those awful Ba'ku any day of the week.
