Best new show of the year?

I think it's close battle between "American Horror Story" and "Boss." If I had to pick one I would go with "Boss" because I find politcs to be fascinating drama.

Revenge is the only one that I think is really compelling at the moment; Once Upon A Time definitely has potential.

Grimm seems to be pretty good so far. It's about the only new show that I've watched this year.

The only ones I've stuck with are Once Upon a Time, Person of Interest, and (strangely enough) Terra Nova.

Although the last one is mostly just so I can read the hilarious recaps on EW afterwards.

Pan Am and Once Upon a Time are better quality, but if I had to choose just one of the three, I'd definitely opt for American Horror Story. It's a godawful mess and a total blast.

And this just underscores that this season has been pretty underwhelming so far. No new "wow" show like The Walking Dead. Oh well, there are some midseason possibilities coming up...

Me, too. Of the few new shows I've seen, Hell on Wheels is the one I have the hope for/interest in.

I'm warmin' up to Hell on Wheels, too, and was watchin' Homeland's first few episodes, but will have to catch up with it later.

I wish I could watch Boss just for Kelsey Grammer, but can't right now.
