Thanks for voting in the first season polls. SamusAranX has asked me to post the poll for the second season. This is the first part where you have to vote the three episodes you consider to be the best. The five episodes receiving the most votes will go on to the next round. Well, you know the routine. ;)

Winners to date:
Season one's most unusual outing Conspiracy was voted as the best episode of the first season. Good choice. :bolian:

While I think the season is generally better than people give it credit for, there are still really only three episodes that stand out in my mind as classics: The Measure of a Man, Q Who, and Contagion.

Q who? - is the obvious choice. Could very well be in the running for best TNG ep.

Contagion - Fun episode all around. One of my favorite TNG eps to re-watch.

A Matter of Honor - Slightly underrated episode. The B story is a bit lame, but I really enjoyed the Riker A plot.

Measure of a Man is good episode and certainly poses some ethical questions that may be more relevant years from now, but it's not a favorite of mine to watch again.

Elementary, Dear Data
Q Who? (which I see everyone has voted for so far!)
Peak Performance

Measure of a Man is a very good episode, but it loses points for me because I can't get over the basic premise. Data tells Riker in Encounter at Farpoint that his rank is not honorary, he is a Starfleet Academy graduate. The fact that we could get to this point without the question of Data's sentience being decided means that sentience is not a prerequisite for joining Starfleet. That makes no sense, and for me it brings down what is otherwise an enjoyable episode.

Obvious choices of 'The Measure Of A Man' and 'Q Who?'. I also went with 'Time Sqaured' as my third choice. Season 2 is better than some would have you think.
