Best Episode of Season 1, Part 1

Well, it was clear who the top five were in this season. Now we have to decide the best of the best.

Broken Bow. Very good and promising pilot episode.

This was hard because Broken Bow was a great action adventure romp that did a good job introducing the characters and the setting with great visuals and a nice mix of old and new Trek aliens; The Andorian Incident was a nicely done prequel episode that gave us insight into the Andorians and the Vulcans in the 22nd century. But I ultimately went with Shuttlepod One because it was a nice character drama.

Andorian Incident--no TCW, Shran, the opening of T'pol's eyes, the T'pol/Archer moments. Great stuff!

I'm gonna go with "Shuttlepod One." The interplay between Trip and Reed was fantastic, and it started a fun friendship that would continue for the rest of the series.
