What is the best advice that has ever been given the Doctor, we have all seen the Doctor give out advice both Medical and of course all of Seven's social/romantic lessons.
In my opinion the best advice ever given the Doctor was given by Tom Paris, in "Real Life" he was the one that convinced the Doctor to let his holo-family play out, no matter how hard or painful he knew it would be.
