This breathtaking print is completely inspired by Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Within this scene, the viewer is essentially a part of the crew, peeking through the shadows to observe the engine room of the USS Enterprise during the emotional finale. Artist Drew Riley has stated that the grief she felt, upon learning of Leonard Nimoy’s passing, was the impetus for this piece. It was, in her words, “therapy” and a way that she, as a fan, could recover from the loss of the beloved actor.
