Don't know about anyone else but I really enjoy both shows. Along with Mongrels, Being Human and The Fades I think they justify the existence of BBC Three pretty well. So along with those two BBC Three have also commissioned a second run of Pramface and some other new shows.

Him & Her has been handed a third series by BBC Three.

The comedy, which stars Russell Tovey and Sarah Solemani as couple Steve and Becky, will return for six more episodes.

BBC Three also announced that it has ordered a second series of Pramface before the first run has even been broadcast.

The show features Scarlett Alice Johnson and Sean Verey as a couple coming to terms with becoming parents after a drunken night together.

Him & Her and Pramface were joined by Russell Howard's Good News, which has been handed a new multi-series deal by BBC Three.

BBC Three's controller Zai Bennett claimed that he runs "the channel that breaks new comedy in the UK", adding that the broadcaster will invest in comedy pilots to air online in a project called The Comedy Kitchen.

Among the six pilots that have been commissioned for the web are a project from The Boy With Tape On His Face - who previously won the 'Best Newcomer' award at Edinburgh - and a spoof news show from lookalike expert Alison Jackson.

Bennett said: "[Our] investment in The Comedy Kitchen and further online investment not only gives new talent and writers the time to grow and develop, but also ensures there is a clear nursery slope for them on to the channel, where we back series like Pramface with two series orders up front."

And a show they're calling "Newsnight meets Trigger Happy" was also commissioned.

BBC3 is to air a new show dubbed "Trigger Happy TV meets Newsnight" that turns the spotlight on politicians, "self-obsessed and narcissistic celebrities" and "bonus-guzzling bankers".
The Revolution Will Be Televised features Heydon Prowse – who hit the headlines after covertly filming Alan Duncan MP – and collaborator Jolyon Rubinstein.
Prowse and Rubinstein have become internet hits with their satirical work for Don't Panic Online, with their targets including Fox News and phone hacking at the News of the World, when they pretended to be reporters from the paper and door-stepped former editor Andy Coulson.
The Revolution Will Be Televised will use a combination of covert and overt filming and is being made by Hat Trick, the independent producer behind Have I Got News For You and Outnumbered.
It is one of three new comedies that have been commissioned by BBC3 controller Zai Bennett.
Also in the pipeline is Bad Education, a six-part series starring Jack Whitehall as a teacher, and Some Girls, a comedy about teenage girls at an inner-city school in London.

Mongrels is excellent, last week's was absolutely fantastic.
Glad that Russell Howard is sticking around, and the Mrs successfully got me into Being Human last season. That officially makes BBC3 my most watched BBC channel these days. Never thought I'd say that.

Funny how people so easily forget the excellent shows BBC Three do and focus on Snog, Marry, Avoid and Hotter than my daughter and shite like that. Their factual output has generally been excellent for a few years now, Young Voters' Question Time etc. have all actually made it a very good public service channel too.
