Just a heads up for those in the UK. RTD and Lis will be on BBC Breakfast News this morning. Sometime between now and 9.15.
ETA: Okay, for those who missed it, I didn't think it was massively interesting. It's always nice to see Lis Sladen. She always strikes me as being very "old school". I remember hearing her speak at a con a couple of years back and felt then that she was from a lost era. I like her immensley. I don't think this particular interview was hepled much by the fact that I find this particular BBC news anchorwoman to be particularly annoying. Anywhoo, RTD was his usual embullient self, and his reaction was interesting when the news woman suggested he might like to turn his hand to re-writing/up-dating some Enid Blyton tales.
The interview seemed to be an odd mix of finding out what Tennant is up to and when the next Who episodes are airing, and a couple of questions about the forthcoming Sarah Jane Adventures. Lis mentioned that her producer commented during the filming of Sarah Jane's wedding that she was enjoying herself too much (or something similar) being in the company of Havers and Tennant, two notable dishes. She seemed not to disagree. What a charming woman.
Iim sure that the tube will have some clips up if you want to chase them down. I was majorly pleased to hear RTD talk briefly about Tennant's performance in his final couple of episodes. Sounds like he pulled out all his acting chops.
