Details coming later today.

You'd think it was related to Tennant but then something uniquely 11th Doctor appears in this teaser.

Let's hope they "crack" on with this, I could do with some cheering up today.

Audio yes. But like the high republic i'm not interested in following other avenues of media. Looks fun though.

Ah, a multi-platform experience. Pretty cool although I have to admit I'm only interested in what Big Finish provides.

What happened to the original link? Did it fall in the crack?
It appeared and disappeared before my eyes on my phone. I suspect it's because it's a Facebook embed instead of the usual YouTube embed.

Lee Binding who did the artwork has confirmed those are Great Vampire-killing Bow Ships in the top right. Which would fit in with the plot description of the story taking place in the past when the Time Lords are fighting a "terrible race"...

Ninth as in really Eccleston, or not ?
I'm thinking Nine will probably only be in the stuff where they don't need an actor, like the novels and/or comics. I'm up for novels, comics, audios and anything else I can get my hands on.
I read the Io9 article, and it mentions "immersive theater" and escape rooms, I'm curious how exactly those are going to fit into the other stuff. And what about us fans outside of the UK, is there going to be a way for us to experience them?

I'll just be happy about a loose adaptation of Steven Hall's Fifty-Fifty, but with the Eighth trying to help/save a future incarnation, in this case the Tenth Doctor going bad.

James Goss, who is overseeing the storylining for the project, has said on Twitter that each medium will follow its own narrative strand, so people who only read the comics or listen to the audios will get a complete story, though of course crossing media will add to the experience.

Big Finish, which tags its news stories with the names of the series and characters they relate to it, had initially tagged their story on this as “Eighth Doctor Adventures” and “Tenth Doctor Adventures.” They eventually removed the Tenth Doctor tag, and when someone asked about it they explained it had been an error and added “It wouldn't be fair to add to the wild speculation with misinformation. This is an incredible cross-platform story; all the Doctors pictured are involved, across different media. You'll just have to wait and see how...“ Which raises the possibility that McGann will be the only Doctor to have a major role in their stand of the narrative. They’ve said in the past that when David Tennant is available they prefer to use him for box sets of TV-style stories rather than more high concept stuff, though with a project like this they might make an exception.

All seems somewhat reminiscent of "Shadows Of The Empire" in Star Wars.

I'm excited for this, let's hope we get some firm details soon. There's an assumption in the national press that it means Eccleston is doing it.

I expect a statement denying it from him any time now.
