...written by Peter David to be released by Dynamite Comics. Yeah, this is a thing that's actually happening.:techman:

However it winds up happening, the two Starbucks have to play poker and smoke cigars. After which, TOSbuck makes a move on Nubuck, and she wipes the floor with him. Just kidding (mostly) about that last part.:p

You know, way back when NuBSG was still on the air, there was a thread in the BSG forum that had devolved into silliness (what? never!) and I suggested that the 100th episode be titled "Crisis on Infinite Earths" and feature a team-up between TOS and NU BSG. I had totally forgotten about it until I read this announcement.

Dynamite has done a good job with the Original Battlestar Galactica.

I recommend "Folly of the Gods", "The Death of Apollo", "Starbuck", "Memorial", "The Adama Gambit" & "Omnibus".

The writers clearly watched the show- many episode references, and appearances by Count Iblis, Lucifer, Baltar, etc. It's amazing these exist at all.

The original BSG Will always be awesome. The only correct ending of "BSG vs BSG": Lorne Greenes ship triumphantly and decisively blowing Ron Moores version out of the cosmos!

This could be a lot of fun. It will be interesting to see exactly how they have the crews and Cylon groups interact.

I love nuBSG and I enjoy a lot of comics. But everytime I've flicked through a Dynamite BSG issue in a comic store I feel kinda bleh. The art and likenesses are never great and it just doesn't feel right, like it doesn't translate well. So to be fair I've never bought any, but doubt I'll start now.
