Battlefield Hardline - Not Impressed

I have enjoyed most of the Battlefield titles and was excited for this one, but so far I am sorry I wasted my money on it. The graphics are nice, but the single player is meh. I am not a multi-player guy so I read up on how the single player was supposed to be pretty good. Well so far it is boring, linear (not really sand box like they said it was going to be) and the missions are short. I'll be trading it in or selling it on ebay.

Yeah, the Battlefield games have largely always been about the multiplayer.
I think the only Battlefield games that had a single player experience to match the multiplayer was the Bad Company series. And I am eagerly awaiting BC3.

From what I've heard of it, it sounds like a game that tries to change things up, but is still caught up within the framework of the Battlefield games which ends up being disappointing as it seems like it never really separates itself from it. Kind of looks like a stealth-based shooting gallery, where instead of shooting, encourages you to keep your cover while you approach for takedowns.
