Battlefield Bad Company 2 PS3 Beta-keys at IGN

Yeah, that's when PSN updates it's store and whatnot.

It's kind of silly that you can't preload the demo, but oh well.
 
Priorities!

You could always just get a key and redeem it now so that you can get to it whenever you're back with your PS3. I have to assume they won't shut it down too quickly anyway.
 
Tried it out this morning. Game play is pretty fun but intense. It's my first time playing the Battlefield series. Need to improve my kill/death ratio but I made Private Gold in about an hour. :lol:
 
I hate you. I so want to play this! Then again I wouldn't buy it on the PS3 even if I had one, and seeing as how that's the only way to play it (well by booking it), eh.
 
Well, a PC beta is supposed to happen next month. :lol:

The game looks and feels drastically different from 1943/BFBC though. They changed the interface and the look, but the shooting feels very distinct as well.

Maybe it was also because I played a desert level and there was this oversaturated light effect that they were using. Oh well. :lol:
 
If they really are releasing a beta (not calling you a liar or anything, it's just that this is the first I've heard of it) then that's awesome! I was going to get it for the 360 first, but it looks like I'll be able to build a new computer in time for the release. Plus I know like three other guys who'll be buying it for the PC as well and then we've got us a squad!
 
Yeah, they announced PS3/PC betas... with maybe a 360 demo at some point.

I'll probably end up getting it on 360 because I'm just too lazy to play on PC nowadays. I've been turned into a Console-bot. :lol:
 
I was set on 360, but after spending most of my week playing L4D2 and TF2 I went back to playing some Bad Company on my 360 and the controls...are lacking in comparison. I still think DICE did a hell of a job on it on the 360 but I'll never have the accuracy of a mouse when aiming.
 
Yeah, I can totally understand that. Personally, I'm just so used to playing games with a controller now that I've just made the swap. It probably doesn't help that I game on a laptop, so I have to attach a mouse if I want to play a game. Just another extra step that makes me lazy. :lol:
 
Played this a little last night and after being spawn killed twice in a row, I said the hell with it.
 
Staff Sgt. Silver so far. I've found that the Engineer best fits my playing style. But I need to get my Assault skills up too for the better weapons. Overall I've been having a blast. The only downside is when I end up playing against guys that are obviously Battlefield veterans. Getting killed 5-6 times in row while trying to catch up to my teammates is no fun. Started playing in squads and spawning to a squad mate instead of footing it.
