Barrowman escapes 80mph car crash

Oooooh!! Glass in the eye! That's never good. Hope re recovers quickly.

let me get this straight John Barrowman, the guy who plays a future human who can never die, walks away from a 80mph car crash, with bearly a scratch on him, from which other men could have been killed, and no one thinks that this is odd?

if I was the paramedic attending, my sides would have split in laughter when I found out that my patient was Captain Jack Harkness a man who can not die.

If im Captain Scarlet im pretty pissed that not only is John Barrowman stealing my thing on screen, but now he is doing it in real life.

I was in a car crash several years ago and had glass in my eye, it actually pierced the white of one of my eye's and went pretty deep inside. I was sooo lucky that it didn't damage my lenses or any other important parts. It's not a nice experience at all, surgery for the large bits and a vaseline like gue left in over a few nights to get the smaller splinters out.

I hope I didn't just make any of you squirm too much :p

Anyway, here's hoping barrowman has a good recovery and the injuries were not too serious.

^*crinches* Poor you!

It's good that he survived. But what the heck was he thinking goofing around in the car like that?????

Well I'm somewhat relieved that it was for a show. If he'd been driving on a public road I'd be in a serious snit! We've lost way too many favorite performers lately. Be careful!

Fortunately he's just too pretty for God to let die. :)

I just love that Metro compared it to Hammond's 288mph smash back in 2006 in a car designed to set land-speed records. They're not even remotely comparable! And Hammond sure as hell didn't get up and walk away!

I suppose the helmet, racing harness and rally spec car might have helped his chances just a little.
