Never thought he was dead. In fact, just the other day, I was wondering when he'd be back.

I didn't think he was dead either...or off the show...just not used. Him appearing in episode 18 seems to keep with some fan's theories (including my own) that his use would be similar to Doomsday's that he would be used spooradically during the season building up to a climax. I bet the Kandorians use him somehow.
