Bad news for BigFoot - Kate gets a body double

I read about this in this morning's paper, then found the above article later. Apparently Ms. Beckinsale will have a body double for her shower scene in "Whiteout". The controversy is over who made the request. Earlier stories had it that Kate demanded it, while other outlets reported that it was the studio itself.

Either way, the result is the same, I'm afraid.

I say we start a campaign of some-sort to convince her that there is nothing at all wrong with her butt or thighs and more than a few men would love to see nude with water running down it.

I saw this to and thought the phrasing was funny.
No Kate didn't request it a body double is standard. There also is no mention of Kate objecting either.

Kate you ass and everything else is fine. The paparazzi have made sure that thing is visible so you may as well do it right on the big screen and show it proudly!

It may have been an economic decision on the studio's part. For Beckinsale to bare all, they'd probably have to pay her far more than they would to simply get a double.
