Should a remake of the trilogy of "Back To The Future" be considered for release in the summer of 2015(2017 & 2019)?

If our would last until then.

I think it would be fitting, if done right. Anyone behind this???

Hell. no. the original 3 films are classics! i couldn't imagine anybody else playing doc or marty

Remake: No. New Movie: YES!

It writes itself... Time-travelling Doc Brown crosses paths with a new teenager and accidentally sends him/her back in time to 1985 where he/she meets her parents.

Where's my hoverboard? Where are my flying cars? Why do I not have a Mr. Fusion?
Remake Back to the Future for 2015? I say thee, Nay. Make the Back to the Future's 2015 real? Heck yes. We've got 6 whole years to work on it. How hard could it be to develop commercially viable anti-gravity and cold fusion in six years?

I can see it now; Universal would stick a Mr. Fusion and two vents on the back of the current Knight Rider and have the whole thing sponsored by Ford.

Or how about Doc Brown accidentally sends a android teenager from the future back into the past, where it inadvertently and with hilarious consequences stops Marty escaping from the terrorists in the original movie.......it would then have to travel back into the future to stop the doc sending it bac.........................OK I'm going to stop just in case there is somebody from Paramount lurking on these boards....

No. And you should be sent to Hades for even suggesting it

Speaking of 2015 though, I have preordered This, and cannot wait till it arrives. I plan to wear it all the time, with my jeans inside out of course :)

I think somehow on his last trip Doc Brown ****ed up the future and took away the hoverboards/flying cars/etc... Maybe they could cover that int he movie ;)

I always wanted a hoverboard, I actually had convinced my brother when we were kids that they were real and that Sears was selling them. He was pretty disappointed come Christmas when he didn't get one

Hollywood needs no further encouragement in remaking classic films. They've gone too far already. I like Back to the Future the way it is. Points for effort, though.

Well let's see MJF can't make anymore movies, so new movies are out of the question.

Plus let's remember all the "4th" movies that have sucked recently, IJ4, Die Hard 4, hell the 4th Star wars movie made was horrid of the horrible.

Since the movie posters kept adding one person to each movie, 4 would perfect for the Brown family

1- Marty
2- Marty and Doc
3- Marty, doc, Clare

4- Doc, Clare, Jules and Verne

Although i'm worried Spielberg would make it too family friendly and we'll end up with "Indiana Jones 4" syndrome.

Basically it's a new movie but its lost that "touch" that made the first 3 so great.

Then again, I remember alot of people thinking that about TOS. And look. We now have a blockbuster film thats gonna erase all memories of TOS...

In 2015 my daughter will be around the same age I was in 1985.

This is somewhat troubling to me for reasons I can't yet fathom.

I don't know if Christopher Lloyd still has it in him, but I DO think it would be fun to follow Doc and his family on one last adventure in his flying train. Assuming they came up with a great story, of course.

It would be a little weird without Marty (or the Delorean), but Doc was such a fun and memorable character that it would still be cool to see.
