Axel Foley aka Eddie Murphy in ...BEVERLY HILLS COP 4-summer 2010

Meet Dave looks painful. The premise seems... "OK" but I'm a little odded out over people falling out of/walking out of his head seemingly at random.

It does indeed look bad. When I've seen the trailer I often wonder what the pitch was on this to him. What "family comedy" angle are they coming from. It might make Pluto Nash look like a success.

Interestingly enough, I'm more interested in Murphy returning to standup than doing BHC4.
See I wonder if he remembers how to properly do the standup that made him a hit in the first place. I fear his return could see a routine that feels forced and unnatural, but I'm willing to give it a try. Still I wouldn't mind a BHC:4 if its revival was as entertaining as the other '80 revivals have been.

Dave looks like another bomb. Maybe he should retire. But he should do Beverly Hills Cop 4 first. It worked for Willis, Stallone and Ford.

I'm probably one of the few who liked Pluto Nash. It wasn't great by any stretch but it was fun Sci-Fi Screwball Comedy.

Dave just looks.... odd, as I said the premise sounds good enough but the stuff with all the people falling/rapelling out of "Dave" just seems odd.

First person I know that says he's seen Pluto Nash. So few did that I figured that is why it was tough to get opinions on it. I don't even want to Netflix it I've heard such things about it.

If you can NetFlix it or find it, for free, on an onDemand channel I'd say it is worth a watch. It's a fun, light, SciFi comedy and his robot companion, for me, mostly made the movie.

"I'm a 29 (or whatever his model number was) I can't Listen and Hear at the same time!"

I'm easily entertained, what can I say? But if there were two movies left in the entire universe. Pluto Nash or any one of the Prequel Trilogy movies I'd choose Pluto Nash in a heart beat. It's not a good enough movie for me to want to own, but if I catch it on TV again I'll likely watch it. Won't go out of my way to do it, but...

at the theatre i go to theres a huge stand up for meet dave thats just Eddy Murphy's head with a really creepy look on it and they put it right behind where the ticket taker stands, they all joke about being watched
