Awful changes made to uniforms and bridge - This movie will suck

What the fuck is up with this new movie? Why couldn't they just leave the franchise dead instead of digging it up?

We already established what the uniforms look like. Modernizing them to today's tastes are awful. Also, what's up with this bridge? Under the guise of a "refit" they've completely changed it. Why couldn't we keep it all the same and within established canon? Also what's with the weird-ass storyline?

It's funny you mention this, because I hated the foot jammy uniforms and the bright modern bridge when this movie came out. Naturally, I got over it. Your point is made.

The new movie's bridge appears very different, but a lot of that could just how it's lit and shot. (The same bridge was used in TMP and TWOK to different effect. I disliked the former and liked the latter quite a bit.) The Nike-ish uniform tunics will probably grow on me with time.
