Hammer stalwart, also did a couple of Dr Who's (Time Monster and Warriors On The Cheap) and Where Eagles Dare. It's a real shame- she's was crazy but lovable (a big fan of minimalist music, especially Mark Snow's X Files stuff, and a huge Formula 1 fan too, so at least she got to see the best championship in years go all the way.)

Always sent a shiver up my spine when I answered the office phone and heard her say "This is Ingrid Pitt." (She wrote a column for another magazine in the company, so if the editor wasn't in I'd take messages).
