This coming season of How I Met Your Mother is the final one.

Negotiations are currently under way, in an effort to extend the series to a ninth season. Additionally, it has been hinted that, we're the show to garner a ninth, that would not necessarily be the final one, so...

I thought they announced a year ago that it was getting a two year renewal and that was it and they were plotting out the series to end accordingly? Isn't everything leading up to the big wedding this finale where Ted will meet the Mother?

Of course, I *DO* really really want them to do a season with the Mother as a regular, I want to see how they get together and fall in love, not just how they meet!

For the comic book TV show, how about Ant-Man and Wasp? Two of my favorite Avengers.

There's a movie of Ant-Man coming, directed by Edgar Wright. While his first drafts did not include any referrence to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, chances are well this has changed, and there's even a rumor Wright will shoot the post-credits sequence of 'Iron Man 3', leading up to his movie.

Coincidentally, I see that there is an Ant-Man thread I'll have to check out. Amazing how these comic book characters stay with us; I haven't read an Ant -Man and Wasp comic since the early '70's when I was in third gradel
