Feel free to double check my figures; I don't want to short anybody their points. Each one got at least one correct guess, but #8,13,14,24, 25, 33 and 36 were the most missed.

Hope you all had as much fun as I did making the challenge. Maybe in a few weeks, I'll do another.

Actually #4 isn't Life on Mars, it's the actual BBC-2 test card from back in the day.

Life on Mars is a widescreen show, and they also recast the girl from the test card so she could come to life in the programme. The girl in image 4 is the original girl. She must be in her fifties by now...

Here's the image and the girl from LOM

Holy. Shit.

I won.

Some of my guesses were complete crap, like Pee-Wee's Playhouse for #8, The Doctors for #29, or Murphy Brown for #30, but I got damn lucky with my guesses for Desperate Housewives and Little House on the Prairie!

I'm speechless, I really am because I expected Locutus of Bored to win.

Thanks again for doing this, auntiehill. Maybe you can do a movie round sometime soon, assuming mrcoaster doesn't object?

I might, but I don't have NEAR the DVD collection that he has. But then, who does? ;)

Every cap here I got from doing some serious Google Fu.

Yay, I'm not last. :guffaw:

Right:

1. Boston Legal
2. The A-Team
5. Frasier
16. Supernatural
20. Columbo
34. Riptide

Wrong:
15. West Wing / my guess: E-Ring
21. The Prisoner / my guess: X-Files

For the rest I had no clue.

No one can rival coaster's DVD collection.

Oh, I'm surprised you didn't include a shot from Doctor Who (classic or new).

Here's my list, emphasis on the one's I didn't get quite right:

1. Boston Legal
3. BSG
4. Life on Mars
5. Frasier
6. Chuck
8. Wonderfalls
9. Buffy
10. Heroes
11. 24
12. Lost
13. Angel
15. West Wing
16. Supernatural
17. Dexter
18. Pushing Daisies
19. Stargate SG1
22. Stargate Atlantis
23. Desperate Housewives
24. House
28. Terminator
30. Friends
32. X Files
34. Riptide

Thanks auntiehill!

I'm pleased I got more than half right! :bolian:

I've never seen Boston Leagal, House, The Prisoner, Reaper, Desperate Housewives, or Red Dwarf....so those I can live with.

But missing Eureka and Bewitched is uncalled for. :scream:

Thanks for the all the hard work auntie!

You're welcome. I have a lot of free time right now, so it was a good project to keep me occupied. :techman:

I've never seen (except maybe part of an episode) Dead Like Me, Angel, House, How I Met Your Mother, The Waltons, Dark Shadows, or Hercules, so I don't feel bad about missing those.

Reaper I watch but that shot was too hard to identify as being from any specific show.

I didn't watch Columbo religiously but I should have known that, as I should have known Moonlighting (kudos on finding a picture of everyone except Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard - that must have been hard), and Little House on the Prairie.

A fictional version of Test Card F, of sorts, appears in the BBC television series Life on Mars. A girl resembling Carole Hersee as she appeared in the test card acts as a sort of spiritual guide in the series. The real thing flashes on and off during a BBC One ident in order to create the feeling of the 1970s.

Close enough, and it was easy enough to know what it was referencing if you had seen the show.

Wow, I suck even more than I thought I did.

Before you say you sucked, consider how much TV one would have had to watch to score as high as EMH and I did, and then reconsider who had their priorities straight.

Congratulations, EMH, if I had a Golden Couch Potato Award handy, I would give it to you. :techman:

Thanks again for taking the time to organize this contest Auntiehill, it was fun.

In my own defense, I've only watched 11 of the shows. The rest was good investigative work based on the visuals and lucky guesses. :D

Congratulations, EMH, if I had a Golden Couch Potato Award handy, I would give it to you. :techman:
Thanks. Better luck next time. :bolian:

And I've been at it for as long as both of you put together, so it evens out. There were a lot I hadn't seen and had to guess at, but there were more than a few where I saw the answers and went

"D'oh! Should'a had that one!"

I'll be back, though.

Congratulations, EMH, if I had a Golden Couch Potato Award handy, I would give it to you. :techman:

Will this do?

That's a keeper.
