Audio Trek Play - The Angriness of Rojay

Lord Moon

Cadet
Newbie
I wrote and starred in a (classic) Trek play some years back and have finally managed to post it on the net. The sound effects are primitive as is the acting. It is not necessarily serious. We are all English so I apologise in advance for the mangled accents. And for the mangled script, performances and jokes.

I play McCoy, Uhura (!), a high priest, a living god and a Klingon. If that doesn't put you off, you can get to listen to it here from the Exotic Trousers website.

Okay I suspect I haven't been selling this very well so here goes...

Experience Captain Kirk's desperate hand to hand battle against the Klingon foe!
Hear him force the Federation's values upon a new civilisation!
Listen to the sounds of not one but TWO Vulcan neck pinches!
And a Klingon head punch!
Experience a god, standing in space!
Meet Captain Kirk's Irish friend from the Academy!
Discover what happened to Kirk's dog!
Beware the Rampaging Cave Beast!
Hear an interesting interpretation of the Star Trek theme!
Listen to destruction on a planetary scale!

Experience THE ANGRINESS OF ROJAY!!!

All in MP3-arama!

There, that should do it. Makes even me want to listen - until I remember the reality.

Don't take it personally that there isn't a big reply to your post- this is a pretty quiet board, I'm sorry to say...

I'm the wrong guy to review this, since I don't like Trek parodies and I have no sense of humor, but I've got to say that was pretty funny. I think if you did it in front of an audience at a Trek convention you'd get a great response. I think you should find someone to animate it. I'd recommend re-doing the audio with more actors, particularly a GIRL for Uhura, and maybe few less goofy sound effects and more professionally mixed music. I think you'd have a hit.

Those are kind words and advice. Thanks.

You mean you realised it wasn't a real girl? Curses.
