'At The Movies with Margaret and David' (Australia)

Just caught their review.

The short answer: 4 stars each.

Some details: they both really liked it. Used phrases like "rollicking adventure". David said that he got more bored with the movies as they went along, but this was really good and fresh. I wouldn't say they were big SF fans, but they seemed to quite enjoy this, and they don't concur all thyat often either. They were pretty upbeat about it.

So, still all good.

I think it's repeated at 6pm Saturday or Sunday.

It's repeated at 6PM on Sunday on ABC1 and I think at 8PM on ABC2 on Saturday.

ABC is also quite good with making their content available online as well.

You can get it as an itunes download and the good thing is, it even comes as "free" downloads - I think actually all the ABC stuff is free.

Anyway, did anybody catch Margaret's HUGE mistake?!?

Just kidding - this is, I am sure what some of the propeller hat wearers here would say. Anyway, since Margaret and David both usually hate sci fi and most big American films(they usually love films about Afghanistani goat herders who find a camel in the desert and marry it), the fact they liked this one means it must be pretty damned good!!!
