Except not. The hypospray is necessarily a high pressure device: it can penetrate skin, after all. And skin is a perfectly good spacesuit as long as one doesn't mind eventual necrosis; a suit with the pressure-resistant qualities of human skin would probably be pretty close to ideal.

By the same token, a determined space cloud could well make its way into an airtight spacecraft as in "Obsession". Just as Futurama put it:

Fry: "How many atmospheres can the ship stand?"
Prof. Farnsworth: "Well, its a spaceship, so I'd say anywhere between zero and one."
