Ok, these comicbook movies are in production, talks in making all of them...Yet no mention of Astro City!!! Why??? This would be perfect now.

From what I have heard Kurt Busiek has complete control of the rights. While there have been offers, he is being very selective in adapting it.

There are so many possibilities to consider. Its not a single storyline or even about a single character or characters.

I think it can be done...It is complicated, but with the right writers and director...anything is possible.

Which storyline should they start with?

I love Astro City. The gap between releases is so long I sometimes forget about it. I been waiting for the trades of the Dark Age.

I'd go with the "LOST" approach of story telling... Open with an event envolving major Astro City Characters and build around it, flash back to tell different stories that would relate to the opening crisis and come to an end to the current crisis...It would work for me.

Ohh TV series would work. But needs something to hook people in. I think the Frist family story line.

Astro City really needs to be a TV series rather than a movie, no question.

Something high end, on HBO or Showtime say, with pimped out DVD season sets.
