Assorted starships

Drew these a couple of days ago with a pencil when I was bored. (this is a photograph) Some are side views, others are from the top. Comments?

Interesting and original concepts. For some reason, I'm really drawn (hehe) to the one on the upper right.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at for the center design, but I like the designs you have on the nacelles or whatever they are that are sticking out. Is that kind of a back (or front) view?

The middle two designs--one on either side--appear to be some sort of personal craft. Is that what you had in mind for those?

Overall, I like your styling. It's not just a rehash of what we've seen over and over and over again.

Yeah, It's got a snowshovel bladed section with stanchions in between the blades.

From above, front pointing upward. Yeah, I made the nacelles with a braided pattern.

The left one, yes, a shuttle. The one on the right could be too, based on its size. It sorta looks like a minivan.

The bottom right one has a diamond-cut crystal on its end. I admit it looks more like a station when viewed from above.

I like the little oval design at top left. It reminds me of a tortoise/turtle, but I'm sure its a lot faster

I like them, but I think they'd fit more comfortably in the Stargate SG-1 universe than Trek. That's not a bad thing. I love both shows.

I wouldn't know, never having watched it. I just draw whatever I think of.

Looking at them through a Trek lens, what species of origin or usage could you see for them?

When you're up for a new series, I can highly recommend SG-1. The storytelling is pretty good and there's some neat starship designs that pass by as the seasons progress, if you're up for that.

Then again, so is Babylon 5 if you haven't seen it yet. A warning, though: its storytelling is way different than the way Trek does (and did) and its CGI hasn't aged that well. It does have kickass aliens.

Personally, I think the middle left ship seems like something out of TAS. Very simple and light maneuverable craft.
