Just watched this episode and am sure I saw a young Brian Dennehy guarding Gary Seven. That toothy grin of his is unmistakeable. Anyone else see this?

Is there any way to find out ALL the actors on an episode - even bit parts like the un-named and unlucky red shirts?

Are you thinking of the redshirt that is stunned by Seven outside the cell? No, that's not him.

Brian Dennehy didn't begin acting until 1976 on stage, 1977 on screen. As near as I can tell from a web search, at the time "Assignment: Earth" was filmed in early 1968, Dennehy was working as a waiter and/or bartender in a New York City restaurant.

Thanks for the replies - and yes, it was the guard who got zapped outside the cell on the Enterprise. The guy sure looks like Dennehy - the same toothy grin, as I mentioned. Thanks again!

He doesn't look like Dennehy at all to me. A broadly similar type, but only very broadly.
