Ashes to Ashes Series 2

Bob The Skutter

Complete Arse Cleft
In Memoriam
Begins on the 21st at 9PM, on BBC One.

I'm looking forward to it. Once I've finished my run through Red Dwarf DVDs I'm going to watch the first series again.

Teaser

21st of this month? Been waiting for this with no news!! the only news i have had to suggest filming is they asked for mk2 Vauxhall Cavaliers on the Mark 2 cav owners site!!

I have met Marshall Lancaster and Dean Andrews, have their autographs, just need Phillip Glenisters and Keely Hawes

I hope they do a recap. I can't remember what happened at the end of the first.

I don't remember for sure, but I think
It turned out her dad had been the one who blew up the car and Gene was the one who came to her and held her hand, not her godfather.

I do believe you're right Bob. I'll go and see if there's a synopsis on the Beeb website somewhere.

not to say you are wrong, but are you sure it was not more of a case of her adding Gene to her memory as the guy who rescued her? rather than the faceless blob who rescued her in the real world.

In her memory it was always her godfather rescuing her, or so she assumed (wasn't it), then when she "saw it happen" it was Gene... unless I'm remembering it wrong?

^Or it was, but reality changed. Or, if she is in a coma, she has changed it inside her head. If it is a coma/dying fantasy then there is no reason she isn't just making it all up. After all I don't see how she could have forgotten the video her father made given she wasn't there to see it in reality, so that's pure fiction inside her head. So why not swap Gene for godfather?

Anyway I guess dead father is going to equal no clown, so I'm wondering what this seasons arc will be. Is this the final season?

They've said that they have ideas of where to go after series 2, but it all depends on if it's commissioned, if the stars want to continue, etc.

Cool, saw the trailer but it didn't say when it was coming back. Hopefully series 2 of A2A will be better than series 2 of Life on Mars.

Great. I´ve just finished season 1, so everything is fresh in my mind. Hope we get some hint of wether she´s still lying in the water with a bullet in her head

I guess she'll remain in the water until the final episode which I expect will answer if she lives or dies. I suspect it will also reveal Genes true nature (if he has one). This was why I asked if it was the final season because I'd like some answers! Looks like I'm waiting a little bit longer!

SFX has a feature on it this month and it says S2 is set in 1982 and the third season will be set in 1983. (haven't read any more yet as I'm reading the article on Abrams Trek)

Shit, my media centre crashed 2 minutes before I started, and I switched over and I missed something at the start, who was it in the hospital, or did we not see that at all?

^I wouldn't know as I thought for some strange reason it started on the 21st, rather than the 20th.:scream:

I'm now waiting for iplayer to catch up.

Yeah, I read the 21st, and that's what I put at the start of the thread. Guess I should have updated it when the Beeb put up the real date.
