As promised, Netflix adds Trek series to streaming devices

Hey, all the Trek series (all seasons, all episodes) except DS9 have hit Netflix streaming, and so far, so good. HD only available in the remastered TOS and Enterprise episodes.

Given the limitations of its delivery mechanism, it looks good, except for early TNG.

^ Well, to be fair, early TNG looks pretty bad on any device and on any kind of storage media.

Love it. I've already started watching Voyager, which I've never had a chance to see before. I am really liking it so far!

Not to rant but it's a shame that TNG seems it was rushed to be converted. Quite a number of episodes has the first 3-5 seconds is missing. And Decent's audio is really weird; the music sounds like it was taken from a VHS tape that was watched a dozen times. I tried watching it on two other devices to see if my PS3's Netflix was corrupted, but it's the same. But other than that, I am still very grateful to have access to Trek so easily.

It's supposed to be released on Netflix Instant Streaming on October 1st. We don't know the reason for the later date.

DS9 has always been the oddball show. It didn't even air on the same channel as the other Star Treks in many regions.

Well, clearly because DS9 is not as good as the other Trek series.

Maybe they're just afraid that, since DS9 is far and away better than any other Trek show, that if they put it up at the same time as the rest, people won't watch the others.
