The article makes some points I argued for in some other threads, however I believe it uses a misnomer, cyberpunk has long been absorbed into the transhumanist, accelerated change zeitgeist in SF.

I have the feeling it's talking about cyberpunk as a genre. Which does have the "transhumanist, accelerated change zeitgeist" on its conscience and ought to feel very, very bad about that. Cyberpunk, I want you to sit in your room and think very seriously about what you've done.
