Thanks to the talented work of custom artist and fan-created pendants..

I have been honoured to be included in this man's work..

Particularly my design of the Omega seal, as worked from the images I could make out from the Arc of infinity..

I know it isn't an exact replica.. but It was the closest I had ever gotten..

anyhow.. here is the link to the pendant, of which I am so getting!!

if you are interested in his work, please contact him via deviant art..or possibly he has a website.. anyhow, I was just notified by him that my art was done in metal..:techman:

Congrats, Starsuperion! Those are really very pretty.

And ... keep plugging away. You deserve a lot more recognition for your work.

Thanks Psion! my real dream is to see a metal and 3d representation of the war tardis.. the spikey spire..

that is my favourite design..

more on that to come in the time lord compendium..

HERE IS OMEGA'S SEAL in the arc of infinity..

compare that to the one created by that wonderful artist..

the only criticism I have of George's work is that the pendant chain link should be at the top of the symbol.. his piece looks to have it upside down..

Hey, this sounds cool. One thing, I have no idea where to find more of your greatness? War TARDIS, you say?

StarSuperion, you should bump your thread on the Time Lord Compendium.

Congratulations on your work being made 3D, and mention my props to the artist.

I shall.. thanks Sindatur! :techman:

The War Tardis is based on the description which was provided in one of the doctor who novels, which described it as a golden spire with spikes all over it, and at the end of the spire on the top was a twisted looking piece of metal..

like a lightening bolt of some sort..or cork screw..

So What I did was extroplate from that description a design that felt like the RTD era Gallifrey, and made one feel as if it were genuinely from the time war.. I even did a design which had them floating above Gallifrey in formation about to ambush an unsuspecting dalek fleet..

The design I did would have the symbol of the time lords in the cap just beneath the twisted tip of the spire..
there would be 3 doors, 2 on either side and one in the center. Officers and commanders of the War tardis would enter in the middle, while timelord troopers would exit from the sides in a ground battle.. or the side doors could access different sections of the tardis within allowing it to disburse automated drone weapons.. and such..

their ships would spin like the doctor's tardis, and temporal missiles would materialize just in front of the ships as they were fired off..

the bottom of the ship has a large light which glows as the ships materialise, similar to the one on top of the police box.. the bottom section of these war spires have a Spacial Anchor, a device which keeps the Tardis firmly grounded and bonded to any surface to which it lands, making it impossible for Dalek's to capture one in a Temporal Prison, like the Doctor's Tardis in season 4, the journey's end.. when the Tardis was captured and brought to the the Dalek Crucible.

these were the early war tardises before the humanoid versions..

here is a link to the time lord compendium thread.. I will be updating that soon, as I am working on adding to it..I have tardis controls, sidrat, engines, schematics and more coming.. in addition to a separate time war section which will be featured in the back, including the war spires seen above, in more detail..

WHOA! Dude, fantastic work! Have you ever thought of doing a comic or trying to get work on the show?

Oh, I just clicked on your link. I'm an idiot.

well I don't have a full comic done yet.. But eventually I am going to do something along that line..

for now what i am doing is trying to create a doctor who version of the star fleet technical manual..from the TOS era..

only this one is dedicated to time lords only.. and their tardises as seen in the classic series..

this would be set during the time the type 40 was the main ship in service..

though near the end I would do some of the upgraded ships, and chronical their designs as if they were additions made to the technical manual over the centuries..

kinda like a cadet handbook..

Cool. I liked your take on the Could-Have-Been-King. Can I ask if you've done commercial work?

No not really, just commissioned work..

But I do own a comics studio company.. though we haven't published anything yet..

here is the information on War Tardises..(taken from the Whoniverse website)

Type 91 War TARDIS

Less then 20 years before the beginning of the last Time War the first Type 91x TARDISes, prototypes for the Type 91, were created. Their default shapes are deliberately large and eye-catching - usually appearing to be gold space ships - massive spires of gold, with corkscrews at the tip and covered in spikes. The Type 91 would continue to be produced for at least the first 50 years of the Time War. They are equipped with a variety of weapons which can be launched from their Time Warp Silos including:
Weaponry

  • Earthshock Bombs consist of fission-fusion devices that create a tiny hole in the Space-Time Continuum. This creates massive amounts of radiation and intertemporal shock waves. These weapons were occasionally mounted on Type 40 TARDISes around the time of the Doctor's birth and were capable of reducing large asteroids to rubble.
  • Time Torpedoes are also launched from the Time Warp Silos of a War TARDIS. It takes a little over 30 seconds for them to reach their target. When they detonate, their target is frozen in a microsecond of space-time for several centuries. These weapons are capable of breaching even a TARDIS's defenses.
  • A Tuckson-Jacker Energy Weapon is based on the technology used in certain weather control systems. When set to broad spectrum, the Tuckson-Jacker Energy can tractor a TARDIS out of the Vortex and into real space. When set to pulse-mode, the Tuckson-Jacker Energy bursts are capable of penetrating a TARDIS Force Field. A successful hit renders both the TARDIS and the Time Lord operator incapacitated. Any Lesser humanoid species that was aboard would be killed.
  • An Artron Cannon, which is capable (at point blank range) of killing a Chronovore or an Eternal. A more general form of this weapon includes the ability to release an omni-directional psychic blast of Artron Energy by opening a direct wormhole to the Prime Eye of Harmony on Gallifrey. The resulting burst of Artron Energy will kill any Timeships that are within the blast radius. The blast will also destroy any Chronovores in the area.
  • A powerful Vortex Lance rounds out the offenses of a Type 91 War TARDIS.

^ I continue to drool my friend.

then feast your eyes on this my friend, page 55 of the time lord compendium..

another schematic page will be done for 56, which will detail the ship's colour scheme..:techman:

Note: This design is slightly more accurate to the original and has additional spikes added, as well as some minor corrections. These War Spires were brass coloured with Gold in some areas, and a small bit of mirror like chrome. The Colour guide is next.

Temporal Anchor: as a War Tardis lands on solid ground, the bottom section below the main footing materializes under ground. This section anchors itself to that gravitational molecular Matter (planet). If a Dalek ship were to try to remove the War Tardis from it's anchor, it would have to drag the entire planet with it. this device was created to counter act Dalek Temporal Prison technology.

Weapon Nexus: A War Tardis weapons nexus is simply the portal generation system which accesses the weaponry from within the tardis by opening a time space bridge to launch it's weapons from. This includes energy weaponry and force field shielding. The Weapons nexus would create a ring of energy through which time torpedoes would launch at various enemy targets, with a full 360 degree accuracy, top and bottom. This energy ring would look like a halo around the ship's weapons Nexus section.

Twisted Spire This top section is a focus structure for the release of the Artron canon, it is modeled on the ancient Gallifreyan Symbols seen in the Tower of Rassilon from the Five Doctors special. In some cases this Spire was used to ram Dalek command ships, which once pierced their Arton canons were fired obliterating the enemy ships from within.

If the BBC and underground Toys were to ever pick this idea up I could see how the toy would be done..

the Bottom half would house the sound effects box, and the crystal temporal anchor would light up with sounds as the ship was in flight, similar to the doctor's flight control tardis. In the bottom section there would be a hatch to plugin the batteries, and above that a compartment for plastic temporal missiles.

the bottom section could detach to show the ship in landing status..

when a child wanted to fire off the plastic temporal missiles, he would detach the bottom, remove the missiles, and then plug them into a sliding hatch where the weapons nexus is.. this would be spring loaded and a firing button on the back section of the ship could be used as a trigger..as the missiles fired off they would trigger a second firing sound box located in the upper spiked section..with hidden holes for the speaker to sound off through..

the three door sections could open inward (as apposed to their 3 way split), and allow time lord action figures, or time lord troopers to be stored for role play action..

at least that is how I could see it being done.
