Are you still 100% OEM?

Over the course of a lifetime we as a people can lose -and even gain- body parts. The former is more common than the latter, but not having anything removed/added is a possilbility too.

So are you still Original Equipment Manufactuer?

Do you still have:

Your wisdom teeth?

Your appendix?

Your -ahem- foreskin?

Have you had any body augmentation?

Me? I'm 99% OEM. I'm only missing what most men in the US are missing as of days into being born.

I have my wisdom teeth. My appendix was removed when i was a kid, and my bishop still wears his mitre. And no i have not had any body augmentation.

no wisdom teeth or foreskin. One tooth is partially fake (and then some fillings, but who counts those?) Also added a bolt into my right ankle, and removed some of my labarum in my right shoulder...

I'm down by two wisdom teeth and a pair of tonsils, but make up for it with a perminant retainer. And I've had some bits moved around -- namely a chunk of the fleshy bit of my earlobe which was grafted into my inner ear to repair some damage in one of the many childhood surgeries I had to regain my hearing.

Considering the fact that most cells in my body other than certain parts of my brain regenerate every 10 - 15 years, no, I'm probably not anywhere near OEM.

Also, my fireman is missing his turtle-neck.

I had surgery to correct an undescended testicle at age two or thereabouts, also surgery to pin my ears back at a similar age. That's it.

No tonsils, and I couldn't be happier to have them gone. I had them removed 6 years ago, and I haven't been sick since.

I have a not-insignificant amount of metal in my left knee, but outside of that, I'm generally still in my factory-delivery status.

Let's see; missing my aeolis in my right lung, missing my tonsils apparently, wisdom teeth, other bits and parts. I never had a radius or ulna in my arm really, which sucks...forget what else they took out from me.

I'm 99%. I still have my wisdom teeth, at 28, though I don't know how much longer they'll last.

I also have some screws in my jaw.

I have had a number of teeth extracted, as I was born with far too many (seriously, the dentist stopped short of calling me a mutant). Including extra wisdom teeth, developing underneath other teeth. That was really creepy.

I've got that going on, too, but none of my teeth have been removed. I've just got back-up wisdom teeth waiting in the wings in case my current ones ever go bye-bye.
