I seem to remeber that Europeans were informed about the SGC right along with the Russians and the Chinese. Thus far only the Russians and the Chinese have successfully blackmailed the US government into building them ships (of course the SGC then proptly help them get destroyed). So far the US has built 6 starships (I suspect that the US also built the Sun Tsu and forked it over to the Chinese as a result of some backroom deal...just like the Russians). So where are the Europeans? Are their ships wrapped up in the bureaucratic red tape that is the hallmark of the EU's contract process? I'll bet that while the Chinese and the Russians were blackmailing the US, the Europeans are still bickering over which country gets to build which part of the ship (and heaven help them finding a name)

I would have expected, by now, that the British would have broken out on their own and simply bought one from the US. In fact, its kind of odd that we've seen more from the Russians and the Chinese than we ever have from the Brits. Its particularly odd given that Brits usually turn up on American sci-fi shows anyway.
