Archer finding the Sol system from Risa is poetic

When he looks through the telescope and mentions this is the furthest that humans have been from home it inspires a powerful chord of exploration.

That one scene was done without any special effects, on the patio of a Risan hotel room.
This show doesn't get enough credit. The enterprise explorers were Alone in space. No federation to back them up means they were incredibly exposed.

the crew did incredibly well to minimize their xenophobia as they encountered new alien races.
