Hi Everyone,
Just a few days ago, I was working my day-shift in my store at Kin's Farm Market (Park Royal - South)...& there she was. With her tiny adorable daughter in-tow, was APRIL AMBER TELEK (of "SG-1", "The Immortal" & "Highlander: The Series", among others.)
I approached her & asked "Just out of curiosity, are you the lady from Highlander & The Immortal?" She blushed, smiled ,& said "Yes. I'm her. I'm surprised you remember that!"
HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!! I tried to get her autograph in one of my boss's notebooks.
She offered to back to her truck & get a signed headshot. I got about ten minutes of chances to check her out as she was shopping. H-O-T!!!!!
In the meantime, I'm telling my buddies who she is & slightly freaking. They're not long-time locals, so they have no idea who she is & just happy for me.
Before leaving to head back to her truck, April mentioned she was in West Vancouver because her house was being shot for "MTV: Cribs".
A few minutes later, right in front of my philipino buddy Isagami, our cashier...she came back & handed me the signed headshot.

She wrote & I quote:
"To Jason. Thank You For Being So Sweet. (Heart) April Amber Telek."
She took her time shopping for a few more minutes & my buddy Isagami nodded outside & there she was. As I'm mopping & sweeping the floor, I'm chatting socially with my buddy as he notices her again. With her door closed, on the driver's side, She was standing next to her truck & staring at us. She waved at me & smiled at my buddy & I, before opening the door & getting into her truck.
