Same thing with medical intake forms and all kinds of paperwork.Especially with going back and forth with printing my name and then writing my name in cursive on every page of applications its insane
fifty years from now cursive writing will probably be obsolete
Well, it has for me, at least. For the past 40 years or so, I've only used block printing. My cursive handwriting is an illegible scrawl that even I can't read. That ship has already sailed.

...
When I was in third grade and the teacher said "Now we're going to learn cursive writing," I thought she meant we were going to learn all the swear words!
"Printing" is what you do with a printing press. Writing block lettering is, well "block lettering."Although I did learn the term "cursive" later in life, if I remember correctly, when we were learning, our teachers just referred to it as "writing", versus "printing".
Anyway
applying for an apartment while it needs to get done, its still a pain in the butt and a chore. Not only with constantly writing your signature at the bottom of every page, but having to make a copy of personal info like social security card etc, to me thats kind of shady for people asking you for personal stuff like that when applying for an apartment.
